When you arrive at Jean-Lesage international airport, you can take a cab for 30 $ till Notre- Dame-de-Foy campus, located at 5030 rue Clément-Lockquell, Saint-Augustin de Desmaures.

Rather than taking the taxi, you can also take the bus at a cost of $3.50 (provide the exact change):

Instead of taking a cab, you can also take the RTC bus for 3,50$ (exact cash to pay your
fare) :

  • At the airport, take the RTC bus 76. The busses run every 30 min from 5am to 11pm. When you get in the bus, don’t forget to ask the driver for a transfer ticket. Get off at Jules Dallaire stop (stop 3875).
  • Then, walk south to the intersection Route de l’Église/Laurier Boulevard. Take the bus 92 or 94 (stop 1793) in direction of Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures.
  • Get off at Notre-Dame-de-Foy Campus at stop 6428.

How to get from Montreal to Quebec City

To go by train or by bus to Quebec-city, you have to count more or less three hours.

In Quebec-city, busses and trains may arrive in two different locations. The first location is near the city center. The second one is closer to Notre-Dame-de-Foy campus where the RIDEF happens.

Here are the different options you may have once you are at the Montreal-Trudeau airport :

  • The Orléans Express bus company provides transportation to Quebec (city center) and Sainte-Foy.
  • You can also go to Montreal city center where you can find busses and trains. You
    need to take the express bus 747. You can either get off at the intercity bus terminal or at the intersection René-Lévesque/Mansfield near the central train station (VIA Rail
    Canada).
  • Air France customers have access to a shuttle bus that goes directly to Quebec-city. Please, ask directly Air France about this service.

From downtown Montreal to the Notre-Dame-de-Foy Campus

By bus

From the Montreal bus station, you can take a bus with Orleans Express. It will take you to Quebec City and Sainte-Foy. Busses run every hour between 6am and 11pm. Get off the bus at Sainte-Foy terminal. Then, you can either take a cab or a bus.
Taking a cab to go to Notre-Dame-de-Foy campus will cost you around 20 $. Here is the address: 5030, rue Clément-Lockquell in Saint-Augustin de Desmaures.

From Sainte-Foy Bus terminal to Notre Dame-de-Foy Campus

At Sainte-Foy bus terminal, you can also take public transportation. A bus ride costs 3,50$ and you need the exact cash to pay your fare. The trip length is about one hour.

  • Take the bus 800 or 801 (called metrobus) in direction of Beauport or Charlesbourg. When you get in the bus, don’t forget to ask the driver for a transfer ticket and get off at Jules Dallaire stop (stop 3875).
  • Then, walk south to the intersection Route de l’Église/Laurier boulevard. Take the bus 92 or 94 (stop 1793) in direction of Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures.
  • Get off at Notre-Dame-de-Foy Campus (stop 6428).

By train

From Montreal train station, you can find daily departures with the national train company called Via Rail Canada (viarail.ca). Thoses trains go to Québec-city and Sainte-Foy. To reach the RIDEF, get off at Sainte-Foy train station. Then, you can either take a cab or a bus.
