Upon arrival at Quebec City's Jean-Lesage International Airport, you will have the opportunity to take a taxi to the Notre-Dame-de-Foy Campus located at 5030 Clément-Lockquell Street, Saint-Augustin de Desmaures, for about $30.

Rather than taking the taxi, you can also take the bus at a cost of $3.50 (provide the exact change):

– Take the RTC's number 76 bus from Jean-Lesage International Airport. The trip is available every 30 minutes from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. When boarding the bus, ask the driver for a connecting ticket and get off at Jules Dallaire Stop, 3875.

  • Then move south to the corner of Church Road and Laurier Boulevard. Take bus number 92 or 94 at stop 1793 towards Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures.
  • Get off at the Notre-Dame-de-Foy Campus at stop 6428.

How to get from Montreal to Quebec City

To travel from Montreal to Quebec City by train or coach, it takes about three hours.

The bus and train companies have two terminals in Quebec City. The one in Quebec City is located near the city centre and the one in Sainte-Foy is located closer to the Notre-Dame-de-Foy Campus, the site of the RIDEF.

From the arrival terminal for international flights at Montreal-Trudeau Airport, here are some options available to you:

  • The Orleans Express bus company offers departures to Quebec City (downtown) and Sainte-Foy.  
  •  You can also take a city bus, the Express bus 747, to downtown Montreal. You can get off at the Montreal bus station or at the corner of René-Lévesque/Mansfield streets near Montreal Central Station (VIA Rail Canada train).
  • Air France passengers can also take the airline's shuttle bus to Quebec City. Check with Air France.

From downtown Montreal to the Notre-Dame-de-Foy Campus

By coach

From the Montreal bus station, you can take an Orleans Express bus to Quebec City and Sainte-Foy. There are departures every hour between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. Get off at Sainte-Foy Bus Station where you can take a taxi (about $20) to the Notre-Dame-de-Foy Campus located at 5030 Clément-Lockquell Street in Saint-Augustin de Desmaures.

From Sainte-Foy Bus Station to Notre Dame-de-Foy Campus

At Sainte-Foy Bus Station, you can also take city buses at a cost of $3.50 in cash for a pass. The bus journey takes about an hour.

  • Take a Metrobus 800 or 801 to Beauport or Charlesbourg. When boarding the bus, ask the driver for a connecting ticket and get off at Jules Dallaire Stop, 3875.
  • Then move south to the corner of Church Road and Laurier Boulevard. Take bus number 92 or 94 at stop 1793 towards Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures.
  • Get off at the Notre-Dame-de-Foy Campus at stop 6428.

By train

From Montreal's Central Station, the via Rail Canada viarail.ca offers daily departures to Quebec City and Sainte-Foy. Get off at Sainte-Foy Train Station from where you can take a taxi (about $20) to the Notre-Dame-de-Foy Campus located at 5030 Clément-Lockquell Street, Saint-Augustin de Desmaures.

From Sainte-Foy train station to Notre-Dame-de-Foy Campus

At Sainte-Foy Bus Station, you can also take city buses at a cost of $3.50 in cash for a pass.  The bus journey takes about an hour.

  • Take the number 76 bus to the airport. Get off at Jules Dallaire, 2000.
  • Move south to the corner of Church Road and Laurier Boulevard. Take bus number 92 or 94 at stop 1793 towards Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures.
  • Get off at the Notre-Dame-de-Foy Campus at stop 6428.
