If you arrive at Quebec Jean-Lesage International Airport, you have the possibility to take a taxi to the Notre-Dame-de-Foy Campus located at Clément-Lockquell 5030, Saint-Augustin de Desmaures. The cost is about $30.

If you prefer, instead of taking a taxi, you can also take the bus for $3.50 (must bring the exact change):

– At Jean Lesage International Airport, you must take the RTC bus line 76. the frequency is every 30 minutes from 5 a.m. until 11 p.m. When boarding the bus, ask the driver for a transfer ticket and get off at Jules Dallaire stop, 3875.

  • Then head south on the corner of Route de l'Eglise and Boulevard Laurier. Take bus number 92 or 94 at stop 1793 towards Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures.
  • You must get off at the Notre-Dame-de-Foy Campus at stop 6428.

How to get from Montreal to Québec

It takes about three hours to travel from Montreal to Quebec City by train or bus.

Bus and train companies have two terminals in Quebec City. Quebec City is located near the city centre and Sainte-Foy near the nearest Campus Notre-Dame-de-Foy, where ridef will be developed.

From the international flight arrival terminal at Montreal-Trudeau Airport, here are some of the options available to you:

  • The Orléans Express bus company offers departures to Quebec City (to the city centre) and Sainte-Foy.  
  •  You can also take a city bus, the Express 747, to get to downtown Montreal. In that case, you must get off at the Montreal bus station or at the corner of René-Lévesque/Mansfield streets near Montreal Central Station (VIA Rail Canada train).
  • If you are an Air France passenger you can also take the Air France road shuttle to Quebec City. For more information, please contact Air France.

From downtown Montreal to the Notre-Dame-de-Foy Campus

By coach

From Montreal Bus Station, you can take an Orléans Express bus to Quebec City and Sainte-Foy. There are departures every hour between 6 am and 11 pm. You should get off at Sainte-Foy bus station and take a taxi (about $20) to the Notre-Dame-de-Foy Campus, located at 5030 Clément-Lockquell Street in Saint-Augustin de Desmaures.

From Sainte-Foy Bus Station to Notre-Dame-de-Foy Campus

At Sainte-Foy Bus Station, you can also take city buses for $3.50 (cash) for a trip. The bus ride is about an hour.

  • Take a Metrobus 800 or 801 towards Beauport or Charlesbourg. When boarding the bus, ask the driver for a transfer ticket and you must descend at the Jules Dallaire stop, 3875.
  • Then head south on the corner of Route de l'Eglise and Boulevard Laurier. Take bus number 92 or 94 at stop 1793 towards Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures.
  • You must descend at the Notre-Dame-de-Foy Campus at stop 6428.

By train

From Montreal Central Station, Via Rail Canada offers viarail.ca daily departures to Quebec City and Sainte-Foy. You should get off at Sainte-Foy train station, from where you can take a taxi (about $20) to the Notre-Dame-de-Foy Campus, located at Clément-Lockquell street at 5030, in Saint-Augustin de Desmaures.

From Sainte-Foy Train Station to Notre-Dame-de-Foy Campus

At Sainte-Foy Bus Station, you can also take city buses for $3.50 (cash) for a trip.  The bus ride is about an hour.

  • You must take bus line 76 to the airport and get off at jules Dallaire stop, 2000.
  • Head south on the corner of Route de l'Eglise and Boulevard Laurier. Take bus number 92 or 94 at stop 1793 towards Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures.
  • You must descend at the Notre-Dame-de-Foy Campus at stop 6428.
