The little village Ljungskile is situated on the beautiful west coast of Sweden. It close to the famous seaside city of Gothenburg. The highway separate the village from the sea, but it’s easy to come to the harbour and baths. 60 km north from Gothenburg. Go by bus or train. About 45 minutes. 20 euro.



15 minutes north from Ljungskile is the Uddevalla city. 30 000 inhabitants.


To travel to Ljungskile:


Gothenburg Landvetter airport is 20 minutes  by bus from Gothenburg city.
Copenhagen, Kastrup is the biggest airport in Scandinavia.
Train goes directly from the Airport to Gothenburg 3,5 h.
Stockholm Arlanda has much more international flights than Gothenburg Landvetter.
You can check interrail tickets if you go from Europe. Maybe it’s the best option.
Important: Train tickets can be really expensive so please book early !

Bus takes you to Stockholm immediately after the Ridef is finished.

The trip costs 40-50 Euro.

Departure: about 12.00 on Sunday 29 July from the Parking of the hostel in Ljungskile.

Distance: 450 km. Without traffic jam and pause the trip takes 5 hours. Count on 6-7 hours. There will be a break for food at 16.00. Food is not included in the price.

The bus will only stop at one place in Stockholm: at the Central station. About six o’clock PM.
